For 16-25 year olds in Trafford looking to get involved in volunteering opportunities

The vinvolved team recruits and supports young people aged 16-25 interested in volunteering.

Available opportunities in Trafford range from

• caring for animals
• helping on the wards at Trafford General Hospital
• working with children
• TV, radio and media
• sports coaching
• spending time with the elderly
• writing and journalism
• youth-led projects
• community action
• arts and culture

All volunteers receive nationally recognised accreditation in the form of v Awards. So, v looks great on your CV, UCAS form or Record of Achievement, is a great topic of conversation in interviews and is an ideal way to gain hands-on practical experience.

The vinvolved team also offers a full programme of activities and events during the summer. These are free of charge, open to all volunteers and count towards your awards.

If you are unsure about working with young people, for example if your organisation has never worked with young people before, then we will happily run a (free) training session with you to cover all elements about working with youth volunteers.
