HELP THE AGED - Volunteers needed in Sale

Help the Aged is a charity whose mission is to support older people in need.

Funds raised by Help the Aged are used to work for a future where older people are highly valued, have lives that are richer and voices that are heard.

Volunteers play a vital role helping the Charity to raise the funds necessary to sustain projects like:

• SeniorLink - which provides community alarm telephones
• SeniorMobility - which provides specially adapted minibuses
• SeniorLine 0808 800 6565 - the free welfare rights advice service.

Money is also invested in research to attack and remove the major barriers to active and fulfilled later life.

Help the Aged could not run its shops without the invaluable support of its team of volunteers who are fully involved in several activities:

• If they have a passion for fashion, they can sort clothes.
• If they love retailing, they can help customers, price stock or work on the till.
• If they have a passion for design, they can arrange shop and window displays.

Over the years the Retail Division of the Charity has contributed many millions of pounds towards the vital work of the organisation - none of this would be possible without the selfless dedication of our volunteers.

Your invaluable contribution to the cause at our Sale shop will help ensure our older generations can face a brighter future.
