A
team of researchers from the University of Manchester, are interested
in how people with Parkinson's feel about their memory and attention,
and whether they feel it has changed, for better or for worse,
since their diagnosis. We would like to know how this compares
to people of a similar age, without Parkinson's disease.
We are looking for volunteers between the ages of 50 and 70, who
consider themselves healthy. We would ask you to complete a questionnaire
about your memory and attention over the phone (we call you).
We may invite you to take part in additional sessions, which will
be held at Salford Royal Hospital (we will reimburse your travel
expenses).
During
these hospital sessions we would ask you to watch some pictures
on a computer screen and make judgements about them, while we
record your choices. Even if you are only able to take part in
the questionnaire session, that would still be very valuable for
our research.
