The
Pleasant Tuesday Afternoon
(or PTA as it is sometimes known)
We are a weekly group of mainly older women (60s plus) who meet to chat,
make friends and learn about new topics together. Usually there is a speaker
for about 15 minutes, sometimes including photos, slides and music.
We meet at Ashton United Reformed Church on Whitefield Road at 2.30
pm for about an hour and have tea/coffee together at the end of the
meeting.
It is run by a small group of women who attend the church but the group
is open to all, and is friendly and welcoming and would love new people
to come along. Just turn up! All welcome. Email
