Sale is a bustling town which originated on the banks
of the river Mersey many hundreds of years ago. This website is for all
residents, past and present, and visitors. We hope it will give a comprehensive
guide to all that goes on in Sale. The town centre has undergone a lot of change recently and there will be some more photos and updates on that in coming weeks.
This website is mainly directed at publicising Sale and what goes on in the community. The main emphasis is on the voluntary sector and more recently on consumer issues generally. The new Forum will allow people to discuss, promote and publicise current local issues. Visitors and ex-residents can post requests for information and it will provide a way for all Salians to communicate generally.
The site is badly in need of updating, so this is an interim 'basic' version with a lot of editing to the content but many of the links still need checking, the graphics and overall design revising etc.
